10.2 SP1 Release Notes
EasyPower 10.2 Service Pack 1 includes the following bug fixes.
Arc Flash
- Improved performance in the speed of arc flash calculations.
- Added a check box in the Advanced Arc Flash Options dialog box to disable consideration of electrode configuration when calculating arc flash based on IEEE 1584-2002, but based on IEEE journal papers on the effect of configurations. Earlier versions of EasyPower included an option to apply multipliers to the correction factor based on electrode configurations not considered by IEEE 1584-2002. This optioned is retained, but is disabled by default for use with IEEE 1584-2002.
- Improved the Worst Case view in the Scenario Comparison Report to display an asterisk where the arc flash boundary is not from the scenario identified in the worst case column. This provides improved visibility when analyzing scenarios where one scenario results in the highest incident energy, and another the highest arc flash boundary.
- Fixed an issue where EasyPower incorrectly calculated the reduced arcing current incident energy for alternate working distances using the average arcing current clearing time when using the IEEE 1584-2018 standard and Momentary method.
- Fixed an issue where incident energy was showing different amounts on a work permit before and after a bus was faulted.
- Fixed an issue when calculating arc flash with IEEE 1584-2018 where the Integrated method was reporting the arc flash boundary associated with the arcing current resulting in the highest incident energy, rather than with the arcing current resulting in the highest arc flash boundary.
- Fixed an issue where the working distances for conductors were not consistent with the Electrode Configuration when the IEEE 1584-2002 standard was used.
- Fixed an issue where, in situations when the specified breakers of a relay are not in the same branch as the relay, the Integrated method was not opening those breakers.
- Fixed an issue when calculating arc flash with IEEE 1584-2018 where equipment with more than one selected electrode configuration was reporting the arc flash boundary associated with the electrode configuration resulting in the highest incident energy, rather than the electrode configuration resulting in the highest arc flash boundary.
Coordination
- Fixed an issue where EasyPower closed while attempting to plot a TCC.
- Fixed an issue where changing the fault type in a TCC plot would cause EasyPower to display an unhandled exception error.
- Fixed an issue where the TCC was unable to insert an arcing current tick mark for an ATS.
- Fixed an issue where on the TCC tab of the Motor Data dialog, changes to the Motor Starter Type were only being saved if the Full Voltage option was selected.
- Fixed an issue where the arcing current tick mark in a TCC while using the Integrated method incorrectly displayed "100% Arcing Current" text instead of "Reduced Arcing Current" text.
- Fixed an issue in the TCC Coordination report where the Maintenance Mode setting was being reported in the opposite state.
DXF Export
- Fixed an issue with the template used for the DXF export that prevented the exported file from being opened in multiple types of DXF file viewers.
Short Circuit
- Fixed an issue where fault types other than 3-phase were not displaying short circuit results in the base case and in some scenarios.
- Fixed an issue where fault contribution of a UPS was incorrectly being passed through an open switch.
- Fixed an issue where the secondary side of transformers have an incorrect short circuit result due to the transformer data not being refreshed upon opening the file.
- Fixed an issue where opening the Short Circuit Options dialog box would cause the display options for unbalanced faults on the one-line to change.
- Fixed issues where the short circuit results for 3-winding transformers were not displaying correct results.
Miscellaneous
- Fixed an issue where the Equipment Duty Scenario Report could not be exported to Excel due to a long .DEZ file name.
