Notes on Short Circuit Modeling

The short circuit modeling of the photovoltaic is forced to be that of a simple Thevenin model like that of a utility or generator with the exception of modifying the internal resistance so that the desired Times FLA short circuit current is delivered when VDrive is set to 1.0 pu. Due to the simplistic (but fast) short circuit method of connecting all sources to the reference bus through their short circuit impedance, and then using a single current injection to get the driving point impedance at the point of the fault, we need to compensate the internal resistance of the Photovoltaic.
