Creating a Bus Duct Spreadsheet
This topic describes how to create a spreadsheet for a bus duct. For other bus types, see Creating a Spreadsheet and Creating a Panel Spreadsheet.
To create a bus duct spreadsheet:
- Do one of the following:
- From the Project Home page, under Spreadsheets, tap New Spreadsheet.
- On the Navigation bar, tap the Spreadsheet Gallery button, and then tap New Spreadsheet.
Note: You can also create spreadsheets from within one-lines. See Creating a Spreadsheet from a One-line.
- You can add a new spreadsheet for a piece of equipment that already exists in your project, or you can tap New Bus to create the spreadsheet for new equipment. Types available include switchgear, MCC, panel, panelboard, switchboard, and bus duct. In this example, we will choose bus duct.
- Type a spreadsheet name or accept the default name.
-
Select the number of plugs for the spreadsheet, and then tap OK.
- Specify the number of sides for the bus duct and the total length in feet. You can also choose a protective device for each plug.
- Specify the nominal voltage for the equipment, and then tap OK.
- OnSite displays the spreadsheet based on the options you selected. You can specify individual plug options such as plug spacing in each row.
Additional Bus Duct Information
If you specified two sides, the plug sides are indicated in the Plug column with an "F" (front) and "B" (back).
The bus duct plug device can be set to incoming or feeder.
Note: When bus duct is imported into EasyPower, it is imported as a combination of busway and buses.
