Dynamic Stability Focus
Dynamic stability simulations are performed in the Dynamic Stability focus. To enter this focus, on the Home tab, click Dynamic Stability. You need to have a completed one-line to enter an analysis focus.
Note: If any items are missing information that is needed to perform the analysis, the program generates an error report. You can view the report and double-click on an item in the report to edit it.
When you enter the Dynamic Stability focus, EasyPower window changes as shown in the figure below.
Note: If you have purchased only the Transient Motor Starting module and not the Dynamic Stability module, your menus and options will reflect the names "Transient Motor Starting" or "TMS" instead of Dynamic Stability.

The Dynamic Stability Status Bar appears at the bottom of the window and indicates the following settings:

Displays SNAP if grid snapping is on. See The Snap Grid for more information. |

Displays the selected fault type. |
Calc Method |
Calculation method selected in Tools > Options > System. |
Voltage |
Either kV or per-unit. |
Fault Unit |
The fault unit as set in Short Circuit Options on the One-line Output tab. |
Driving Point kV |
The driving point voltage value as set in Short Circuit Options on the Control tab. |
