Designing the One-line and Performing Analysis
After you have your Revit data in EasyPower, you can design your one-line and perform short circuit analysis on the model.
Figure 1: Import Results Report
There are three options on the report for each item:
- Go To: When you click this button, the item is highlighted on the one-line. You can edit the item from the one-line.
- Edit: This button opens the data dialog box for the item, where you can edit the data directly without going to the one-line first.
- Clear: This button clears the item's data from the import log.
Revit may not contain all the information that EasyPower needs to perform analysis. In addition, some necessary equipment may not be included in the one-line. For example, you need to have a source (such as a utility or generator) in the one-line to go into the Short Circuit focus.
When you are able to go into the Short Circuit focus, you can click Fault Bus(es) to perform the short circuit analysis.
If you have the AutoDesign feature in EasyPower, you can use it to size your equipment and feeders. This information can be exported from EasyPower and then imported back into Revit.
When these tasks are completed, you are ready to export the information back to Revit.
