Functional Groups

A functional group is a collection of electrical equipment that can be grouped together under very specific conditions. Functional groups are created, edited, and deleted from the Database focus. You can plot TCC curves for functional groups in the Coordination focus. See Plotting Functional Groups for more information.

Currently, the only functional group that is available is the Relay Controlled Fuse Group (see Relay Controlled Fuse Groups). For a fuse to be available to a relay controlled fuse group, it must be set up correctly in the device library (see Relay Controlled Fuse Group Settings).

Functional groups are only available if your system is set to ANSI short circuit calculations.
