Coordinates

Use coordinates to specify the location of the various items in your symbols.

The origin (0,0) of the symbol is the top left corner. The x coordinate increases left to right, while the y coordinate increases top to bottom.

The X coordinate is shown across the top of a rectangular box, with an arrow pointing to the right. The Y coordinate is shown on the left, with an arrow pointing down.

The coordinates are based on grid points, as shown below.

A grid is shown with points marked at 10, 20, and 30 on the X axis of the grid and 10, 20 and 30 on the Y axis.
