Reviewing Revit Import Results

After the EasyPower data has been imported into Revit, you can review the results for accuracy. If desired, you can repeat these steps to continually update the two programs with data from the other program.

EasyPower Project Parameters

By default, EasyPower creates several project parameters that are visible on electrical equipment in Revit. When viewing the properties of an element, the EasyPower project parameters are visible.

The Properties pane in Revit displays an Electrical Engineering section that includes EasyPower project parameters.

The EasyPower project parameters are set up automatically and can be viewed in Revit on the Manage > Project Parameters menu.

The Project Parameters dialog box is shown.

Figure 2: Managing Project Parameters

For the values of the imported project parameters relating to cables, these can be viewed by selecting an item such as a panelboard while viewing the Modify Electrical Circuit tab, and then clicking the Electrical Circuits tab.

The EasyPower project parameters are shown on the Circuit tab in Revit.
