Creating a Scenario
The following is an example that describes creating a scenario:
- In the EasyPower\Samples directory, open simple.dez. In this case, the file already exists, but if you were working with a new file, you would build your one-line and then save the file. This establishes the base case for this file. The Windows title bar displays (Base case).
- Click Scenario Mgr > New Scenario. This puts the one-line in scenario mode. The Windows title bar displays (Scenario-1), which is the default name EasyPower assigns for a scenario. Any changes made while in Scenario-1 are only saved to this scenario and are not seen in the saved base case.
- Add a motor to BUS-2.
- Click Scenario Manager > Store Scenario. Scenario-1 becomes a macro which instructs EasyPower to add a motor to BUS-2.
- Click Scenario Manager > Open Base Case. This returns you to the last saved base case file (the one saved in step 1 above). The motor disappears.
- Click Scenario Manager > Open Scenario. Select Scenario-1 and click OK. This runs the macro that was stored in step 4. The motor reappears.
