Export to Revit Details

This topic provides additional details about the information EasyPower exports to Revit.

Exported Value

Notes

Calculated Short Circuit Current (in kA)

This is applicable for bus equipment types (including a bus, panel, MCC, and ATS). In EasyPower analysis, this is the momentary symmetrical kA for a 3-phase fault. The exported data includes the field name and value in kA.

Calculated Arc Flash Incident Energy

This is applicable for bus equipment types (including a bus, panel, MCC, and ATS). If EasyPower generates multiple arc flash results for any bus, the one that corresponds to the Excluding Main option is exported to Revit. The exported data includes the field name and value in cal/cm2 or Joules/cm2.

Arc Flash Working Distance

This is the distance at which the arch flash incident energy is calculated. The exported data includes the field name and value in the appropriate units.

Short Circuit Rating (in kA)

This is applicable for bus equipment types (including a bus, panel, MCC, and ATS). The exported data includes the field name and value in kA.

  • For a bus, this is the Bus Bracing (kA) in EasyPower.
  • For a panel, this is the Panel SC Rating (kA) in EasyPower.
  • For an MCC, this is the SC Rating (kA) in EasyPower.
  • For an ATS, this is the SC Rating for the switch or the breaker, depending on how the ATS is modeled in EasyPower.

Amp rating (in Amps)

The amp rating for a bus, panel, or ATS.

Transformer kVA Rating

The transformer rating in kVA.

Circuit Breaker Rating (in Amps)

This is the Trip Amps for EasyPower low voltage breakers. This is part of the circuit data in Revit.

Cable Data

The following values are exported for cables:

  • No/Ph (number per phase)
  • Phase Conductor Size
  • Phase Conductor Material
  • Ground Number
  • Ground Size
  • Neutral Number
  • Neutral Size
