Option | Description |
---|---|
For the purpose of X/R calculation, EasyPower enables you to set the average Hp for ANSI codes <50 group, >50 group, and Lumped group as chosen in the Motor Data dialog box. For IEC, you can set the averages for the 37 kW group, >37 kW group, and Lumped group. The options that appear are controlled by the short circuit calculation method set on the System tab. |
|
This factor is used to calculate the design kVA (or amp) values in for bus equipment. The code factor kVA (or amp) value is multiplied by this factor to obtain the design size. |
|
Relay Calibration Multiple |
The database reports for relays display the calibration amps and seconds at the specified multiples of pickup. |
Cable Derating Based on |
The LV cable ampacity calculations include the derating for ambient temperature based on this selection.
|
Schedule Defaults – Scale |
The graphical scale of schedules inserted in the drawings. |
Auto-fill LV breaker trip with min values |
When the Manufacturer, Type and Style are chosen for the trip, the settings are automatically selected at the minimum possible in the dialog box. |
Include motor contribution for short circuit |
You can select whether to include or exclude current contribution from the motors when performing ANSI short circuit calculations. For IEC, the motor current contributions are always shown regardless of this setting. |
Show fields and X/R calculations based on IEC 60909 (GB/T 15544) |
When this option is selected, fields such as RG (ohms), pG, and RDf/X"d are enabled in the Impedance tab of the Generator Data dialog box, which enables calculation of the X/R ratio based on IEC 60909. This check box is automatically selected for newly created one-lines if the default short circuit calculation method is set to IEC-60909 (GB/T 15544). |
Use 75 C cable in air rating table for Raceway Type Air |
Select this check box to use the 75° C rating for conductor ampacity in free air conditions as per the terminal ratings established in the NEC 310 tables. By default, this check box is not selected based on the NEC requirement of the use of ampacity for 75°C cable in a cable or conduit. |
