Viewing the Database Browser
To open the Database Browser, open a one-line, and then do either of the following:
- Click the Database icon in the ribbon of any focus or select the arrow below the icon and click Database Browser.
- If you are viewing the Database Report, click the Database Browser icon.
Note: You can only make edits to equipment if you open the browser from the Database Edit focus.
This Database Browser shows the data of the all the items in the one-line. The equipment types are divided into separate groups. The information for the group selected on the left is displayed in a grid on the right.
While viewing the summary, you can see each of the equipment types and the total items in each group on the left. In the figure below, this system has 8 buses, 2 MCCs, 2 panels, 1 utility, and so on.

If you select an equipment group from the list on the left, the browser displays the data for that equipment type.
Typically, all equipment items in the database are listed in the Database Browser. However, you can filter the items shown in the Database Browser by selecting only the desired items on the one-line before opening the browser.
