Configuring EasyPower Settings

You can link data fields in OnSite to similar fields in EasyPower. Because OnSite is very flexible, it is necessary for you to specify the links between OnSite and EasyPower so the two programs can work together.

Note: If you modify a setting here and we change the default settings for the project template, your settings remain in place and the project template changes are ignored.

To configure EasyPower settings:

  1. On the Project Home page, tap Settings.
  2. On the Project Settings page, tap the EasyPower Settings tab.
  3. Tap the equipment you want to configure.
  4. For each EasyPower field, select the method for setting the EasyPower field value when the exported OnSite data is imported into EasyPower.

The possible options are described below.

  • Use EasyPower default value: When this option is selected, the OnSite data is ignored, and the import uses EasyPower's default values to populate the field in EasyPower.
  • Use OnSite property: When this option is selected, the value in the OnSite property you select from the list will be imported into the selected EasyPower field as long as it is valid in EasyPower. If it is not valid, the EasyPower default value will be used.
  • Use lookup table: When this option is selected, you can configure a lookup table to link OnSite property values with the EasyPower type.

In the example below:

  • OnSite Conductor Type 1-Core is linked to the EasyPower Type 1/C. In EasyPower, 1-Core is imported as 1/C.
  • OnSite Conductor Types 2-Core, 3-Core, and 4-Core are all linked to EasyPower Type 3/C. In EasyPower, 2-Core, 3-Core, and 4-Core are all imported as 3/C.

Note: Regardless of which option is chosen, if the OnSite and EasyPower fields are not compatible during the import, the EasyPower default values are used. The data collected in OnSite will still appear on the Collected Data tab of the equipment items in EasyPower.
