Project Settings

After you create a project, you can configure the project settings. This lets you customize the project to your needs. For example, if you need additional equipment properties than what we provide in our templates, you can create them here. If you want to specify how information is exported from OnSite and imported into EasyPower, those settings are controlled here.

To modify project settings:

  1. On the Project Home page, tap Settings. This displays the Project Settings page.
  2. Tip: You can also display the project settings from the Start Page by pressing and holding the project until the More menu button is displayed, then tapping the button and selecting Project Settings.

  3. Tap the tab for the project settings you want to view or modify.

The tabs include:

  • General: Information about the app, options, and storage appears here. See General Settings.
  • Properties: Use this tab to configure the properties of your equipment items. You can customize the properties you want to appear on each item type, set up selection lists, and specify default values. See Configuring Equipment Properties.
  • Voltage Options: Use this tab to set the nominal voltage for each equipment type. You can also specify whether to automatically apply network voltage to new connections. See Configuring Voltage Options.
  • Spreadsheets: Use this tab to set up your spreadsheet configurations for each of your bus types. You can specify the column appearance and order, and identify the properties available to each spreadsheet's categories and columns. See Configuring Spreadsheets.
  • EasyPower Integration: Use this tab to determine how information is exported to EasyPower. You can set whether to use the default values from EasyPower, use OnSite values, or use lookup tables. See Configuring EasyPower Settings.
