What's New

OnSite is the latest product from EasyPower, an industry leader in power system analysis software. This new tool lets you collect power system information electronically on a mobile device right where the information exists—in the field. New in Version 1.4

Project Overview: You can now see all of the one-lines in your project displayed in the Project Overview. Use this to lay out your project for importing into EasyPower and to easily navigate between one-lines or to spreadsheets for which one-lines were created. See Project Overview for more information.

Project Review: A notification now appears on the Review button on the Project Home page that indicates how many items in the project need to be reviewed before exporting. See Reviewing a Project for more information.

Naming Options: There are new options to control how equipment items are named when they are added to one-lines or spreadsheets. See General Settings for more information.

Spreadsheets:

Property Page Enhancements:

  • The Properties Page for each equipment item has been modified to display the attached media and notes while the properties are still in view. This enables you to view a picture of a piece of equipment and to view or enter its data, all on the same page. See Properties Page for more information.
  • When you enter item properties, the most commonly entered values move to the top of the list, which helps you to enter data quickly. The list display has also been enhanced so the app does a better job of predicting what you are looking for as you type characters into a field. See Entering Equipment Properties.
  • Some of the property selection lists on items such as motors, cables, and fuses now include a list of common entry items.

Project and Property Settings:

  • There is now a project setting to turn the cropping tool on or off when taking pictures. See General Settings for more information.
  • There is a new equipment setting that enables you to automatically copy or restrict copying of individual equipment properties. See Property Settings for more information.
  • In the EasyPower Settings, for any field where the import option is either Use OnSite property or Use lookup table, you can now select a fallback value to use when a required field in EasyPower is missing from the import data. See Specifying a Fallback Value for more information.

Spreadsheet Comments: For each row on a spreadsheet, you can now enter a comment. All items in the Spreadsheet Section of the spreadsheet, (including comments for MCCs and panels), are now exported to EasyPower. See Entering Spreadsheet Data for more information.

Licensing Enhancements: You can now release an OnSite license on one device to activate it on another. See Releasing a License and Assigning a License for more information.

Inserting Existing Equipment in a Spreadsheet: The method of inserting existing equipment into a spreadsheet row has been expanded. See Selecting Existing Equipment for more information.
