Annotations

Annotations include text or boxes on the one-line. Use text annotations to add notes to the one-line that are not specific to particular equipment. Use the boxes to draw borders around equipment on the one-line.

Text annotations can also be viewed in the Database Browser. Annotations are only visible in and are not exported to at this time.

Adding Annotations

To add an annotation:

1. While viewing the one-line, tap Category on the Equipment Palette, and then tap Annotations.



2. Drag the text or box to the one-line in the position where you want it placed. You can move or resize the annotation after you add it, if needed.
3. For text, type the text you want to appear in the text box. You can also view or edit the text by selecting the text box and then tapping the Properties tab on the right.

Deleting Annotations

To delete an annotation, tap to select its border, and then tap Delete from the Action Bar.
